Propelled by a unique business model and the ability to enhance every shipper's efficiency, MWL is emerging as one of the leading third-party logistics providers in North America. MWL is based in Dallas, Texas.

MWL has two business segments: Asset-Based Platform and Brokerage Platform.

Asset-Based Platform is the segment of MWL's business in which we operate like an asset-based carrier. Upon receiving an award of business, MWL drops the appropriate number and type of trailers into the customer's trailer pool, and provides committed capacity (the same universe of tractors, trailers, and drivers) when servicing the business day-in and day-out. Our Asset-Based Platform was originally MWL's only line of business, and remains approximately 75% of MWL's business today.

The Asset-Based Platform segment provides large quantities of multi-modal capacity throughout the North American continent (i.e., the entirety of the contiguous 48 states, as well as Canada and Mexico).

The Brokerage Platform is the segment of MWL's business in which we operate similar to a modern transportation industry 'brokerage' model. This segment is approximately 25% of MWL's business today.

The Brokerage Platform segment provides flexible capacity throughout the contiguous 48 states.

Efficiency is MWL's focus. Enhancing the efficiency of each of our customer's transportation and logistics activities—from an operational and procurement perspective—is MWL's calling card. MWL is the industry's most efficient "one-stop shopping" call, and was formed to serve the complex needs of the largest blue-chip shippers. MWL also provides its solutions to elite small-to-mid-sized shippers (which benefit greatly from accessing solutions typically only available to the largest shippers).

Rapid Growth
MWL has grown rapidly by understanding each customer's expectations and needs, and then creating solutions that exceed those expectations and needs on each individual load. Consistent investment in excellent processes (and robust technology) has allowed MWL capture the approach that creates "individual load" success and replicate it consistently and efficiently. This gives MWL the ability to exceed each customer's expectations on 100% of that customer's loads.

Technology
MWL invests consistently in keeping its technology aligned with customer needs and the industry's leading edge. MWL utilizes the full universe of EDI transaction sets for the transportation industry. Additionally, customers are able to retrieve documents and access customized reports at MWL's "Client Login" application elsewhere in this website.

People
Finally, MWL is extremely proud of the people comprising its workforce (a diverse team long on 'grey matter'). The vast majority of MWL's employees hold college degrees, and 10% hold advanced degrees. Smart people, equipped with excellent processes and robust technology, and focused on our customers' issues.
