Mitchell Ward’s exposure to transportation began at an early age watching his father work hard as a truck driver. With a love for the industry, Mitchell founded MW Logistics in 2001 to provide a better experience for logistics customers and carriers.

Carrier partners like Marten Transport and Cliff Viessman Trucking began working with MWL because we provide their team members with carrier-friendly loads and industry-leading payment terms. Strategic partnerships with these carriers have in turn allowed MWL to operate like an asset-based carrier, providing our customers with a superior experience.
With access to large quantities of shipping capacity and a commitment to customer service, MWL was able to gain the business of recognized brands from across the country. Proctor and Gamble was the first major corporate client of MWL — a relationship that started with the company’s inception in 2001. Since then, MWL has proven to be an exceptional logistics solution for major brands like Clorox, Coca-Cola, Walmart, Frito Lay, Pepsi, Mars Petcare, Target, Best Buy, and more.
