MW Logistics was founded in 2001 by Mitchell Ward, a former professional football player who understood what it takes to execute under pressure. Twenty-five years later, we operate freight brokerage, dedicated transportation and yard management under a unified model for Fortune 500 clients across North America.

Mitchell Ward
Mitchell Ward, Founder and CEO of MW Logistics, has been a visionary leader in the logistics industry since establishing the company in Dallas in 2001. His leadership has driven MW Logistics to prominence, including its partnership with “MWL EV Solutions Powered by Lazer Logistics,” making it the largest M/WBE electric vehicle provider in the U.S. A former professional football player, Ward played in the AFL after his college career at Texas State University. MW Logistics delivers customized logistics solutions across multiple shipping modes, serving leading Fortune 500 brands. Ward's commitment extends to philanthropy through the MW Cares Foundation, which supports community initiatives like distributing over one million pounds of food annually to families in North Texas. A Texas State alumnus and Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Ward continues to champion student and community development programs.
Pamela Wills-Ward
Pamela Wills-Ward, Chief People & Strategy Officer at MW Logistics, brings over 30 years of HR leadership experience, specializing in talent strategy and scalable processes. A graduate of Texas State University and Stanford's Executive Program, she shapes the company’s operational strategies while enhancing profitability and efficiency. Wills-Ward also serves on the Logistics and Supply Chain Advisory Board for the G. Brint Ryan College of Business. As President of the MW Cares Foundation, she oversees partnerships that provide over a million pounds of food annually to families in North Texas. Beyond her corporate role, Wills-Ward is an active community leader and board member for several organizations, reflecting her commitment to service and empowerment in the logistics industry and beyond.
Toby Purdy
Toby Purdy, Chief Growth Officer at MW Logistics, drives company expansion through innovative strategies in sales, marketing, and product development. With 30+ years of experience in industries like Consumer-Packaged Goods and Events, Purdy combines data-driven decision-making with a focus on operational excellence. His leadership has delivered significant growth for companies like Frito-Lay, Dean Foods, and Freeman. In addition to his professional achievements, Purdy is dedicated to mentorship and community service, supporting organizations like Braven, United 2 Learn, and MW Cares' Thanksgiving drive. He values family as his greatest accomplishment, sharing life with his wife, Judge Monica Purdy, and their children, Zoe and Zane.
Matt McGuire
Matt McGuire is an experienced sales leader with over 12 years in transportation and supply chain management. As Director of Sales at MW Logistics, Matt oversees a team focused on delivering exceptional service to Fortune 500 clients while driving operational efficiency and profitability. His expertise spans sales, pricing, and data insights, with a strong emphasis on customer relationship management and executive-level negotiations. A former collegiate athlete at Abilene Christian University, Matt’s competitive spirit and strategic approach have helped MW Logistics maintain a reputation for excellence in service delivery and client satisfaction.
Andrew Wren
Andrew Wren joined MW Logistics two years ago, bringing over two decades of expertise in logistics and supply chain management. As Director of Logistics, Andrew leads the Operations, Customer Service, Pricing, and Analytics teams, fostering high-performing teams and driving operational excellence. His career, which began with inside sales for a leading 3PL, has been dedicated to developing and mentoring talent to achieve long-term success. A graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with degrees in education and psychology, Andrew’s leadership style emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and promoting internal growth for team members.
Delina Butler
Delina Butler serves as Director of Accounting at MW Logistics, bringing meticulous attention to detail and a wealth of expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. With over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management, Delina oversees key functions, including accounts payable, general ledger reconciliation, and financial reporting. A graduate of San Diego State University and Keller Graduate School, Delina is proficient in advanced accounting systems and known for her ability to streamline processes and ensure fiscal accountability. Her leadership is instrumental in maintaining the company’s financial integrity and operational excellence.

Yvette Charoo is the Director of Business Operations at MW Logistics. She brings 25+ years of experience driving growth, operational excellence, and customer-focused transformation in logistics, events, and service-based industries. She is recognized for building high-performing teams, strengthening customer relationships, and leveraging technology to create scalable business solutions. Known for her collaborative, people-first leadership style, Yvette excels at aligning strategy, operations, and innovation to deliver exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business results.
Tim Glover
Tim Glover is the Senior Director of Logistics and Procurement at MW Logistics. He brings more than 20 years of experience in transportation, freight brokerage, and supply chain management. Throughout his career with industry leaders including DSV, J.B. Hunt, UTi, and FedEx, leading large-scale operations, carrier procurement strategies, and high-performing teams focused on delivering exceptional customer outcomes. Tim is passionate about building strong partnerships, developing talent, and leveraging data-driven decision-making to drive sustainable growth and service excellence across the organization.
