MW Cares Partners with Tarrant Area Food Bank and Others for its Annual Thanksgiving Mega Mobile MarketCommunity Organizations Distribute a Half-Million Pounds of Food at AT&T Stadium

DALLAS (Dec. 10, 2025) – MW Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of MW Logistics, partnered with the Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB), the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic and others to host the sixth annual Thanksgiving Mega Mobile Market. In total, nearly 500,000 pounds of food were distributed ahead of the holiday to support almost 5,000 North Texans. In addition, MW Cares contributed $50,000 to TAFB to continue its support for ongoing community initiatives. The event took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“It is important to make sure that no family goes hungry,” said Mitchell Ward, CEO of MW Logistics. “The massive giveaway allows us to support families who are working hard but are still facing food and financial instability. It is always rewarding to give back to the community.”

MW Cares empowers communities with resources that address core needs including food insecurity, housing, education, health and economic growth, setting a standard for social responsibility.  With many families still navigating the loss of SNAP benefits, the need for reliable food assistance continues to grow. The MW Cares Foundation works year-round to secure the resources necessary to make this annual event possible, ensuring families facing food insecurity have a joyous Thanksgiving and hearty food options. Families received 100 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, turkey or chicken, cornbread mix and more.

“Seeing our community come together is what drives us,” said Pam Wills-Ward, president of MW Cares and chief people and strategy officer of MW Logistics. “Knowing that a day of service can ease some of the pressure families feel during the holidays is deeply meaningful to our team, and we are committed to continuing this work year-round.”

Other notable partners that contributed to the food drive include Cotton Bowl Classic, the Dallas Cowboys, American Airlines, Albertsons and Tom Thumb. Through these partnerships, TAFB was able to deliver another successful donation event.
